TSoul performed “Knock on Wood” by Eddie Floyd on The Voice. He is fighting for a spot in the Top 12 as a member of Team Blake.
Adam Levine said TSoul was amazing. He thought TSoul had a real soulful voice. Blake Shelton said the energy that TSoul brought to the stage was so much fun. Blake said what TSoul did was what performing should be all about. He said that he did a hell of a job.
What did you think of the performance? Let us know in the comments section.
When TSoul was a child, his grandmother would sit him at her piano and teach him how to play. The first time he sang in public was in the middle school choir. In college, TSoul joined his school’s gospel choir, where he had the chance to perform all over Europe, including for the Pope at the Vatican. At 20 years old, with no job and no backup plan, TSoul decided to commit to following his dream of music completely while couch surfing with friends in New York and Atlanta. When he is not gigging or writing music, he helps with his family’s catering business for extra income.

The three-time Emmy Award-winning “The Voice” returns with the strongest vocalists from across the country invited to compete in the blockbuster vocal competition show’s new season. Grammy Award-winning artist Gwen Stefani returns as a coach this season, joining megastars Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton and host Carson Daly.
The show’s innovative format features five stages of competition: the first begins with the blind auditions, followed by the battle rounds, the knockouts, the live playoffs and, finally, the live performance shows.
In the live playoff rounds, the Top 20 artists compete to secure a spot in the live shows. Artists perform live, and America votes to save their two favorite artists from each team. The coaches then save one remaining artist to complete their roster. The remaining contestants move on to the final phase of the competition – the live shows.
