Sammulous brings back this 70’s Sylvester hit, and gives it a new audience on America’s Got Talent. Sammulous went with a different style of singing this time on America’s Got Talent after Simon Coweel made a comment about his previous cabaret performance.
The judges gave him a standing ovation. Howie Mandell thought he was a throwback to the 70s and disco. DJ Khaled said that he is from Miami so everything he has done is great. Simon Cowell was torn because there is so much talent. Heidi Klum commented about how he can hit the high notes.
Sammulous is a singer competing on America’s Got Talent, Season 12. According to his Facebook profile, Sammulous was “adopted” by 10-time Grammy award-winning, legend, Queen of Funk Chaka Khan, as her “nephew.” Just a few weeks prior to Sammulous’ audition on America’s Got Talent, he sang Chaka Khan’s hit song “Ain’t Nobody” in Bryant Park in New York City.
Sammulous, is currently working on his first studio album with producer, singer and songwriter James “D-Train” Williams at the United Stations. Sammulous was also cast in the Tony-award-winning musical “Fun Home” choir for the Spotify album.
