Kid Rock Wearing Profanity-Laced Electoral Map T-Shirt Is A Digital Fake

An image has been circulating on social media that shows singer Kid Rock donning a T-shirt with the electoral map, showing blue states labeled as “Dumbfuckistan.” This image is nothing more than a digital fake.

According to Snopes, the image went viral within days of Donald Trump winning the 2016 presidential election. The image showed the singer wearing a shirt with the electoral map, which, in addition to the profanity-labeled blue states (Hillary Clinton majority votes), also had red states (Trump majority votes) labeled as “United States of America.”

However, the image of the electoral map and map key were Photoshopped onto an image of the singer from a 2013 concert. Other pro-Trump images have been Photoshopped onto the exact same image since then.

Despite the image being a fake, Kid Rock had previously stated that he was a Trump supporter. In an interview with Rolling Stone earlier this year, he said, “I’m digging Trump.” He also called his campaign “entertaining as shit” and predicted that he would secure the nomination.
