Junior and Emily Alabi delivered in their dance performance on America’s Got Talent to win over the judges. They gave a better performance than last time to impress the judges.
Mel B asked if the talent on this show get any better. She said that the duo entertained them with something different. Mel B called them brilliant. Heidi Klum agreed with Mel B. She called it modern and that the duo stepped up their choreography.
Simon Cowell said that it was the most dynamic and powerful performance that Junior and Emily have done so far in this competition. Simon said that they deserve a place in the semi-finals. Howie Mandel called them creative and original. Howie said that they exploded with the input that they were given.
Junior and Emily Alabi were raised by a single father who immigrated to the United States. Their father instilled the value of family from a very young age, and because of that, wherever Junior went, a younger Emily would tag along. Their father encouraged them to get involved in dance to stay out of trouble, and from that a salsa duo was formed.
They are best known for their speed, power spins, arm work and creativity. Their unique style has allowed them to perform in more than 60 countries around the world in the last 17 years. Dance has touched their lives in a positive way, which inspires them to share it with the world.
