Jesse Larson’s ‘Sir Duke’ By Stevie Wonder Deemed Vocal Of The Night On The Voice Playoffs

By Shawn Rice

Last of the night, Jesse Larson performed “Sir Duke” by Stevie Wonder on The Voice playoffs. He is fighting for a spot in the Top 12. Adam Levine deemed Jesse’s performance the vocal of the night.

Adam called him white Cee Lo and that he was blown away with his performance.

What did you think of the performance? Let us know in the comments section.

Jesse’s father was his biggest influence and introduced him to classic blues at a young age. After his father suddenly died of a heart attack, he began to lose his drive and considered quitting music. Then he got a call to audition for Prince. After many auditions, he got the opportunity to play for Judith Hill, whom Prince was producing. After Prince’s sudden death, the tour was canceled, but the experience reignited Jesse’s passion for music.
