Jesse Larson sung Chris Stapleton’s “I Was Wrong” on The Voice in a performance for his late father. His performance came with the news that Jesse will be a father himself.

Adam Levine said that his belief in Jesse is so real. Adam genuinely believes that Jesse is the best that The Voice has got this season. Adam thinks it is a crime if Jesse is not in the finals. Adam believes that Jesse will blow everyone’s minds with a finals performance.

Jesse’s father was his biggest influence and introduced him to classic blues at a young age. After his father suddenly died of a heart attack, he began to lose his drive and considered quitting music. Then he got a call to audition for Prince. After many auditions, he got the opportunity to play for Judith Hill, whom Prince was producing. After Prince’s sudden death, the tour was canceled, but the experience reignited Jesse’s passion for music.
