A strange sight appeared near the White House on Wednesday. Those in Washington, D.C. were surprised to see that a giant inflatable chicken with features resembling President Donald Trump was placed near the presidential residence. Unsurprisingly, the internet found the massive, orange-haired bird hilarious.
According to HuffPost editor Philip Lewis, filmmaker and Tax March Chicago organizer Taran Singh Brar bought the $1,300 inflatable chicken to protest the president. “Trump is too chicken to release his tax returns, to stand up to Putin,” he said. White House adviser Kellyanne Conway said in January that Trump, who is currently on a 17-day “working vacation” at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, NJ, will not release his tax returns—breaking a campaign promise.

Brar created a GoFundMe earlier this year to raise $10,000 for a 30-foot “Chicken Don” for Tax March Chicago. “Donald Trump is too chicken to release his tax returns and Tax March Chicago needs a 30-foot-tall inflatable rooster to show the world just how big of a chicken our President is,” he wrote in the campaign description.
The “inflatable Trump roosters” popped up in China earlier this year to celebrate the Year of the Rooster. Given its resemblance to Trump, the chicken, which can cost thousands of dollars, quickly went viral. The chicken’s characteristics, which include golden hair and Trump’s signature hand gestures, could not be denied.

What’s the message here? Trump is a chicken? Trump shouldn’t play chicken with our lives? I’m confused. https://t.co/Fu3WdRt4QY
