Final Draft Performed James Brown’s ‘It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World’ On America’s Got Talent

By Shawn Rice

Final Draft puts their spin on the James Brown classic “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” on America’s Got Talent. Final Draft consists of four guys from Atlanta.

After Howie Mandel gave a standing ovation, one of the singers had trouble finding the words, telling the panel, “Man, honestly, this moment, just being in front of y’all, just being in front of everybody, to see your reactions, ’cause we put our all into this.”

From the first note, the crowd was into it. Three brought harmonies while the tenor lead singer led the way, followed by a soprano to balance him off near the end.

Mel B said, “What you got you can’t teach somebody. You have that inside you and it jumps out that stage. You have something really really special. Trust me!”

“I’m feeling that you want to be here because this is your life,” he told the act. “As a group, you are really, really talented. And your life will never be the same after tonight.” And Simon Cowell said, “I think it was a great, great audition. I saw this real passion, this real ambition. You have absolute talent. You have great chemistry. I’m excited.”
