Howie Mandel said that Evie is living through a story that we all go through. Howie heard heart and many other things through Evie’s performance. He said that Evie made him speechless. Mel B was a little bit worried at first because she did not recognize the song. But, then hearing the words and Evie’s voice, she felt that Evie was a singing angel. Mel B was proud of her.
Heidi Klum said that she was so proud of Evie for being so strong. Heidi told Evie that she has such an incredible voice. Simon Cowell called her one heck of a brave young lady. Simon sent his love to her dad.
Evie Clair is 13 years old and has been playing piano and singing since she was two. Clair got her start at Hale Theater at the age of eight. She performed the national anthem at an Arizona Diamondbacks game and received a Judges Choice Award in a contest for her cover of “Glorious.” Her cover of “Take on Me” was awarded by Arizona Interfaith Movement for promoting the Golden Rule and presented at the Parliament of the World’s Religions. She then recorded an album produced by Arizona Golden Rule Educational Experiences titled “Stars Shine Brightly,” available to all Arizona public schools.
Clair’s vocals for the original song ” Peanut Butter to My Jelly” won her the opportunity to sing the theme song for the movie “Once I Was a Beehive”; she also had an original song featured on the movie’s soundtrack. In 2016 Clair released her own pop single, “Love You One More Time.”
