Dancing with the Stars: Team Phantom of the Ballroom Performs Broadway-Inspired Dance for Halloween Night
By Erica Abbott
Wrapping up “Halloween Night” is Team Phantom of the Ballroom, featuring Frankie Muniz, Vanessa Lachey, Victoria Arlen and team captain Drew Scott. They are dancing to “Phantom of the Opera” by “Phantom of the Opera” Original London Cast & Michael Reed. The team’s overall score will be added to each couple’s individual score from the night.
Bruno Tonioli calls it a “splendid, theatrical extravaganza,” adding that the different dance styles worked very well together. Carrie Ann Inaba says it was exquisite, while Len Goodman calls it “polished.” They score a 30 out of 30, beating Team Monster Mash.

Things are getting creepy and kooky in the ballroom as the eight remaining couples celebrate “Halloween Night.” On Monday, the stars will dance a paso doble, jive, Charleston, tango, Viennese waltz or contemporary routine to capture the spirit of the scariest night of the year. Couples will also participate in team dances, lead by captains Drew Scott and Terrell Owens. An elimination will occur at the end of the night. Drew Scott and Emma Slater are currently at the bottom of the leaderboard with 30 out of 40 points. At the top of the leaderboard are Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas, who earned a perfect score for their sci-fi Argentine tango during “A Night at the Movies.”
