Dancing with the Stars: Bonner Bolton and Sharna Burgess Dance Sweet ‘Wreck-It Ralph’-Inspired Tango for Disney Night
By Erica Abbott
Bonner Bolton and Sharna Burgess take the stage next, dancing a tango to “When Can I See You Again?” by Owl City from “Wreck-It Ralph.”
Len Goodman loves that so much of the dance was in hold and commends the fact that he stayed in frame. Julianne Hough says he embodied the character, while Bruno Tonioli suggests being less two-dimensional. Carrie Ann Inaba calls the technique good, but not his dynamics. They score a 30.
The magic of Disney takes over the “Dancing with the Stars” ballroom tonight. It’s Disney Night—the most magical night of the season! Couples will perform a variety of charming dance styles to classics such as “Pinocchio” and “Mulan” and new fan favorites like “Frozen” and “Moana.” Featured dance styles include jazz, foxtrot, Viennese waltz, tango, paso doble, and contemporary. One couple will be eliminated next week.

According to ABC, in a little over a year, Bolton has gone from bull rider to fashion model. “He had been leading the PBR’s 2016 season opener when he landed on his head when dismounting the bull. He splintered his C-2 vertebra, was temporarily paralyzed and given a one percent chance to walk again. Following spinal fusion surgery and during his remarkable recovery, IMG Models signed the cowboy from west Texas for global representation, and he’s been featured in major photo shoots and ad campaigns.”

The judging panel is composed of ballroom experts Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli. Their scores, along with America’s votes, determine who gets to stay and who is sent home each week as couples vie for the coveted Mirrorball trophy.
The current contestants include Olympic gold medalist gymnast Simone Biles with partner Sasha Farber, Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei with Val Chmerkovskiy and this season’s Bachelor Nick Viall with new mom Peta Murgatroyd.
