Adam Cunningham Cover Of Chris Stapleton’s ‘Either Way’ Gets Him Stolen By Adam Levine On The Voice

By Shawn Rice

Adam Cunningham delivered his own version of “Either Way” by Chris Stapleton on The Voice. Although Adam lost the knockout round to Esera Tuaolo, Adam Levine stole him.

Jennifer Hudson said that Adam captivated her. Miley Cyrus said that the simplicity of Adam with just the guitar made it about his voice. Adam Levine said that Adam sung to his fan base. Blake Shelton said that both deserved to move on in this competition.

What did you think of the performance on The Voice? Let us know in the comments section.

Adam, a session singer in Nashville, grew up singing at churches with his mom and dad before releasing a few Christian albums as a young adult. Things were starting to look good until 2011 when his career went on the fritz as he and his first wife divorced. Adam put music on hold until 2013 when he met his current wife, Courtney. She brought light into Adam’s life and he started writing songs again. A year ago, Adam and Courtney welcomed a baby girl into their family. Now, more than ever, Adam wants to make a successful career singing his music.

“The Voice,” which has won four Emmys for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program, returns with the strongest vocalists from across the country invited to compete in the blockbuster vocal competition show’s new season.

Superstar singer, songwriter, actress and pop-culture icon Miley Cyrus returns as a coach this season with Oscar, Grammy, Golden Globe-winning recording artist and Broadway star Jennifer Hudson taking a red chair alongside the show’s returning coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton and host Carson Daly.
The show’s innovative format features five stages of competition: the first begins with the blind auditions, then the battle rounds, knockouts, playoffs and, finally, the live performance shows.

At the end of the battle rounds, only the strongest members of each coach’s roster remain and proceed to the knockout rounds. Here, the artists will be paired against a teammate once more, but this time they will select their own songs to perform individually while their direct competitor watches and waits. They are vying for their coach’s confidence and decision to take them to the final and crucial round before the live shows, the playoffs.

One superstar universal adviser will be on hand to work with all of the coaches and their teams Go to the full article.
